Hello LA Galaxy South Bay Families and Friends,

Each week great things continue to be added to our programs which help to reinforce LAGSB’s position as the preeminent leader in developmental youth soccer and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our latest upgrades.  We are happy to announce that starting immediately, LAGSB will feature the highest qualified goalkeeper coaches in the area for both our boys and girls programs.  These coaches come to the club with deep experience in the position of goalkeeper coach and in developing young players to their fullest potential.

Mike Oseguera is our new goalkeeper coach for the boys program.  His strong 12 year tenure helping young players mature and flourish at the academy and youth levels also includes player development to dominance at the professional and collegiate level.  He personally has played professionally and was also on the 2006 Pac 10 Championship team with the Cal Berkeley Bears.  In addition, Mike is currently an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for the men’s program at Loyola Marymount University, a NCAA Division 1 program.  More information about Mike can be found on his profile at LMU here: Mike Oseguera’s Profile.

We are also excited to welcome Jessica White who will spearhead goalkeep coaching for our girls program.  Jessica is also well esteemed in her background of developing young goalkeeper superstars at the club and collegiate level and she has invaluable experience as part of the Olympic Development Program.  Personally, her high standards of excellence and phenomenal prowess guarding the net earned her high historical rankings for UC Riverside.  She is an outstanding addition to our club, which will take our girls goalkeeping development to the highest level.  Jessica is also currently an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for the women’s program at LMU.  More information about Jessica can be found on her profile at LMU here:  Jessica White’s Profile.

These additions to the club, along with our current team of exceptionally talented coaches, all contribute to make LA Galaxy South Bay the most effective developmental youth soccer program to be found in Southern California.

Our new goalkeeping coaches will begin training our players this Friday evening concurrent with our new player tryouts at Toyota Sports Complex, 555 Maple Avenue in Torrance.

Our best in Soccer,
